The partitions of this
exit stair are illustrated on the left with Thot
and the Sefekhet-abouy goddess, other name of Seshat, on the right. Thot pronounces a long speech while renting
Sety for the
working order of the temple.
On the right, Seshat
describes the foundation of the temple. Seshat is also qualified of "Lady of the builders" in the Texts
of the Pyramids and play
an important role in the construction of the
temples. It is her that helps the king to plot the periphery of
the temple, what makes
itself the night, in order to be able to
move in
relation to the stars. (cf. Corteggiani and Schumann Antelme and Rossini in references).
This exit leads to the Oserion. It is a curious monument, made of massive enough blocks that are precisely in the alignment of the temple. Its sense remains mysterious:. The decor has been performed under Merenptah (Vandersleyen, 1995). . (see the history part or click here)
